Increment is applicable only after joining regular scales of pay.
increment is allowed on 1st January only.
since on 1st January 2012 you were not on regular scale, no increment was allowable.
next due date for increment is 1st January 2013.

WHY SUCH SCHEDULE OF TRAINING IS MADE IN FCI THAT NEW COMER HAS TO FACE LOSS OF ONE INCREMENT? THIS KIND OF ATTROCITIES ON NEW RECRUITEES ARE FOLLOWED SINCE 2005 OR MAY BE EARLIER.WHETHER SNATCHING ONE INCREMENT AT THE VERY BEGINING WILL LEAD THE CORPORATION TO THE FINANCIAL SURPLUS OR INCENTIVE TO THOSE WHO SCHEDULE THE TRAINING IN SUCH A WAY.

By reducing the training period from 1 year to 6 months, actually one additional increment as well as full salary for additional six months has been provided to newer Management Trainees than what was allowed to earlier batches.
