Stratagy for forthcoming Pay revision Empty Stratagy for forthcoming Pay revision

I would like to put forth my thoughts over the dual standards of finance ministry towards the valid/justified demands of FCI.
Now,it is finally clear that the demands of FCI for Pay parity with CWC, PRMS, MACP and pension plan are rejected by the finance ministry on the ground of affordability/non profitibility.
It is a well known fact that, FCI was placed at Sl.no. 03 behind Indian Oil and ONGC along-with other top performing CPSEs by Justice (Retired, Supreme Court) M. Jagannadha Rao committee appointed by the govt. to recommend the salary structure of CPSEs.CWC was placed in 3rd category (Cat-B).
But in the matters of salary FCI was placed along-with the Category D CPSEs by the ministry on their own justification.
I could not understand why we are demanding pay parity with CWC and not with ONGC or Indian Oil.
Now, the officers and staff both are being put to further pressure by passing the new food security bill 2013, which is projected to double the burden of existing food subsidy by the ministry itself.
It is very much clear that if we will not protest now, we are again going to lose on next pay revision.
We can also stage our protest by the following ways(another ideas may also be suggested by our colleagues)
    • We can also attend office by wearing black badges till our demands are listened to by the ministry.
    • We can send memorandum to the ministry after getting signatures of all its staff/officers.
    • By going to mass CL, therefore keeping the FCI operations closed for one day.
    • I think that now FCIOA should provide support to the agitational program of FCIESU which is demanding their justified demand of equal treatment with CWC.
