FCI,It is the second most stratagic organisation in India after Indian Army.Indian Army provides us security(external and internal).Similarly FCI is an organisation which is providing Food security to the nation.If FCI is omitted from the scene,the very next day people will start dying of hunger and this sitauation may result in Civil war as we can see in Somalia and some other countries fighting hunger.
My qusetion is:
1)Though FCI is such an important organisation,why we are not getting the due respect we must get.
2) Why it is called a white elephant?
3) Why ministers and some state governments proposes to dismantle FCI?
