I have been posted at district office Durg, I belong to the general cadre, but I am being forced to act as a depot manager despite of the fact that depot managers are available to be posted. area manager is saying that i can not challenge his orders. in such scenario what should i do? only option remains with me is to protest or resign as i cant take responsibility of such sensitive depots and i am a general cadre manager. I am also not aware of any circular from headquarters that managers from general cadre can be posted at depots. it has added a lot of mental pressure on me. i don't want to be posted as a manager depot. please give me your suggestion.
