Ignorence of the engineers recruitment in FCI

Is there any recruitment in Engineering cadre Particularly the Junior Engineers in Civi and electrical branches

In the execution of civil / electrical project / maintanence works the FCI was following the three tier system i.e 1. 100% supervision and quality control of engineering works including making out the proposals, detailed analysis of each items of works as per the preset guidelines etc will be carriedout by the Junior Engineers concerned. 2. The same would be verified and the works / proposal's measurement would be checked to a minimum of 50% by the subdivisional officer i.e by the Manager(Engg) concerned. 3. The works /measurements again checked by the Divisional head i.e by the AGM(Engg) to a minimum of 10% and the works will be completed. Now the Junior Engineer cadre has become almost nil in FCI. The 100% responsibility become on Manager (Engg) with very minimum in strength. THe strength of Manager atleast to on par with the earlier JE's strength. Whereas the present strenth is only half of it and to add fual the Manager (Engg) sanction is being utilised for other cadre job also which affects the specialisation required for the respective Engineering cadre jobs. Further the ptresent two tier system also may vanish in near future as the present strength of Manager(Engg) in getting lean every month / every year by way of retirement / promotion. It is very difficult to execute the engineering works under single (tier) officer's responsibility with out any engineering subordinate officer / officials.

May I request the FCIOA to take up the issue at appropriate level in the intrest of the FCI for recruitment of Junior Engineers and Managers for Civil and electrical branches

It apears that the FCI board has approved for the recruitment of Junior Engineers of about 400 nos. Thanks to the GM(Engg) for his untired efforts for this achievements. So far no fruitful efforts were made towards the recruitment even though the strength become zero in almost all the Zones for the last 9 years. The recruitment were made in other cadres but excepting the Engineers for which neither the corporation nor the senior officers of the engineering in Regions / Zones have made any concrete proposalsfor the depleting strength of Junior Engineers and Managers(Engg). Atleast on getting the required JE's the Managers, and the AGM's in Engineering cadre may get some sort of relief from the present work load.

Presently there is no recruitment agency for recruitment of Officers.
Any further progress would be possible only after Agency has been appointed.

How long it will take to get clearence from ministry and appoint the recruitment agency? Cann't be recruited through the district Employment Exchanges? Any govt instn is there to give up those mode of recruitment.
